We're so glad you're joining us! Here's everything you need to know to get started.
1. Find Your Choir
Your choir's location and rehearsal time are listed on our website:
2. Come to Your First Rehearsal
Your first rehearsal is commitment-free!
You don't need to prepare anything beforehand. Just bring:
Water
Your enthusiasm!
You do not need previous singing experience or musical training. If you want to sing, you're welcome here.
3. What Happens at Rehearsal?
A rehearsal is generally 90 minutes
We learn our songs by ear. You don't need to read music.
You will learn the songs by singing along with recorded parts.
4. After Your First Rehearsal
If you decide you'd like to join us, simply email us and let us know you're ready to become a member.
We'll then confirm:
How much you need to pay
How to make your payment
Please wait for this confirmation before making your payment.
5. Paying Your Membership Fee
Your fee is calculated based on your group and your start date.

Mail your cheque to Shout Sister Choir headquarters.
VERY IMPORTANT
When you pay, please include:
Your full name + your city + your email address
This is especially important for new members.
If an e-transfer arrives without a name and email address, we may not be able to match the payment to your membership.
6. What Will We Sing?
Each choir has its own song list.
You will receive access to the recorded song parts you need after you are registered.
We're also creating YouTube playlists for each choir to make it easier to get familiar with the music.
7. Will There Be Performances?
Yes!
There is a big performance at the end of the session.
There are also usually smaller performances during the session, such as performances at:
Local seniors' residences
Community events
You'll receive information about performances from your choir.
Most Important: Have Fun!
You don't have to be a great singer.
You don't have to read music.
You don't have to have any musical training.
You just have to want to sing.
